The Storm

If you read this blog then it is your duty at this time to pray for everyone in the path of this storm. All our particular needs, as important as they are, should settle a little while we turn our prayers to God for those who will die in Sandy.

That was at 8 this morning. It’s due about 8pm tonight. Twelve hours early and it is already encroaching on coastal New Jersey. In 1900 Isaac Cline learned a lesson about hurricanes and all storm surges — they are the worst on the right front quadrant.

Divide a hurricane into four quadrants. The eye will come ashore, draw a mental line straight up in the direction of the storm, then one at a 90 degree angle to the right. THERE is the storm surge.

Notice where it is headed? The most populace area of our nation. Economic infrastructure, the island of Manhattan, Long Island; every coastal state has and will feel this monster of a storm.

So you pray. We all pray. Let us always pray throughout this storm and the aftermath. This is my invitation to you to pray with me.

If you are willing to do this then write to me, or leave a comment, let me know you are praying with me. Please?
