Today the thought “what if there were more people all praying for the same things could accomplish?” Has it occurred to you that the solution for all problems can be in prayer?

Prayer is Powerful

This section might be the perfect place to put a long string of scripture to make the point that prayer is powerful, but I want to take a different approach. When a lot of people I talk with say they pray I ask what do you pray about? Do you want to guess what they say?

“Things I need.”

I support that, we are told to pray for our needs and told to depend solely upon God, but surely that is not all we should pray for, is it? No, of course not, we should do exactly as Paul says in Philippians 4:6-7

6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.
7 If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

“Don’t worry about anything: instead pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” Do you do that? I think most of your do.

Proposal

So why is it that more people do not pray about the serious situations all over the world? I think that everyone who reads this blog should from time to time pray about one thing, all of us. You can suggest a pray topic and I will post it. This world is too busy pointing fingers or guns, or seeing to their agendas to stop and think that perhaps if we prayed more powerful results might be seen.

That is my faith.
