Our lips are sealed: Why young Catholics don’t confess | USCatholic.org.

This is a very good article regarding young Catholics and the Sacrament of Confession.  It is revealing, and very timely.  When I converted to Catholicism I was unsure about confession, even though I had used it in the Episcopal Church, but after my first confession I realized exactly how useful and psychologically wise it is!  Read the article.  You will enjoy it.

My goodness, dear brother, we did the doe-see-doe: you to Rome, me to Canterbury!

Interesting article. I was glad to see that 123 spoke of forgiveness from God directly, rather than dismissing God or religion altogether.

I met Fr Bob Nugent, SDS, along Sr Jeannine Grammick, SL, twenty-five years ago on the University of Notre Dame’s campus when I was an undergrad. He’s a good priest.
